The ALL-ON-4 and ALL-ON-6 surgery procedure
The ALL-ON-4 and ALL-ON-6 procedure begins with the placement of four or six dental implants in the jaw. Based on each case, after examining the condition of the jaw and carrying out an assessment, the doctor determines how many implants will be sufficient. As with the placement of a single implant, here the titanium screw takes on the role of the tooth root, as well as supporting the new teeth that are placed on the implant. A connecting material is placed between the dental implants and the crowns, and the crowns are fitted once the implant has fused with the bone.
The procedure doesn’t take long, as it takes about 15 minutes to place a single implant, but if bone augmentation is needed in the posterior region due to insufficient bone volume, sinus lifting is performed to build up the bone.
